Took seven attempts to re-install 10.14.14.
Last attempt to upgrade to current OS fĪiled.
Booting up takes up to 15 minutes.Ĭlearly I've gone wrong here, or perhaps there is a hardware issue I'm not addressing. After 7 attempts (with a couple rounds of wiping and reformatting the SSD) I was able to get 10.14.4 running again.
The update ended in a "locked" sign, shut itself down, and the computer wouldn't boot up again.
I conducted what I thought would be a routine software update to 10.14.6, and everything blew up. About half of the time I boot up I get the "prohibited" sign. There were a couple glitches in that upgrade, but it seemed fine in the end.įast forward one month, and the computer just seems incredibly unstable.
